On Saturday, December 1, Team Alberta part of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League hosted the Toronto Furies at Canada Olympic Park. The game was number two of three for the weekend and was free to hockey fans. The Calgary Flames recently announced a partnership with the Canadian Women’s Hockey League, pledging $25,000 per year for the next four years. Team Alberta lost all three games of the series. The next home games will be Jan 4-6 vs. Boston at WinSport Arena at Canada Olympic Park.
